Agreed. And, on the writer’s side (e.g., your own publication), things could really be improved a bit as well. For example, I decided to post a couple of my own books on Medium within my own publication. It works well to post, say, one chapter per article. But, then you have to really do a ton of work to make that work on Medium somehow. I wound up coming up with a custom tag for each book, and then adding individual navigation links atop my own publication to just those tags. Then within each chapter / article, I had to manually insert nav links to previous / next chapters. Takes a lot of work for something like that… That all said, I really do love Medium.com, and am a paying member. I’d like to see it take off even more, and build out even more functionality for both writers and readers.
