Extremely helpful article! Question on women’s literature: I assumed that meant that the story would relate to specific issues as much as it having a female protagonist. Also, I kind of assumed that the author would also (almost always) be female. Would those be accurate considerations there? My current novel project features a female protagonist, but I’ve never considered it women’s lit.
