How in the world can you be 12? If I didn’t see your mention of your age, I’d have assumed you were at least two decades older, and certainly college-educated as well. :-) I look forward to reading your posts!

I’m not much of a fan of long-hand writing myself, but I can appreciate the advice (which will no-doubt prove productive for many), as well as the numerous anecdotes and facts included here. For me, it’s two things: (1) a matter of practicality, I think, as I can type considerably faster, and (2) my habit of editing as I write (which I realize may be viewed by some as a distraction from the writing process).
