Man what a crazy story about Kazuo Ishiguro! Can you imagine having *that* much support as a writer (from a spouse, or anyone, for that matter)? I truly believe time is the #1 factor in getting good writing done. It’s just so tough in the modern world with all of our work-, family-, and life-responsibilities (and, yes, distractions too).
