Mine, too, lol. TBH, I keep it that way b/c on Medium that's how you get paid. This article is 2.5 years old, has been viewed 40k times, and has paid me a total of $85 since publishing. Of those 40k, many were members and many were nonmembers who get so many free Medium stories per month before they're asked to pay. That all said, I'm happy that 40k people maybe learned how to circumvent this and other sites when needed. :-)
