Nice list — and, yes, I DO charge for all of those. :-) One more, btw, is for *quotes*. Freelancers spend a TON of time (sometimes) on doing quotes for prospective. A free quote may be reasonable for small / easy gigs, but not for huge ones. So, for me, if it’s a complex quote, I charge them for doing it. (Many of my colleagues call this “discovery” work.) I’ve found that, for many clients, if you explain this up front (that planning a job takes significant time), they often understand. (If they don’t, do you really want them?) Besides, with such a quote, they also get value from it, as it’s a better, more detailed quote that is really a plan of action (which they could use elsewhere, with another freelancer, if they want). Anyway, just wanted to mention that!
