Nothing worse than cringe-inducing grandparents. God, I can relate to that so much, as mine were so damned racist all the time (like over-the-top, obnoxious/offensive racist remarks every damn time we saw them). I’m just glad that all of us grand-kids didn’t buy into their attitude. But, it still made it difficult for us to be around them & to protect our own kids from their influence, language, etc.
