Sure, Mary… Usually, you just have to paste the URL to the article and hit return. If it’s a Medium article (or from a source that has markup Medium can read) it should generate the little box. So, it’s not available for every reference — just mainly Medium.com ones and a select few other outside site URLs, I believe. Sometimes those auto-formatted features don’t work properly, btw. If you paste a Medium link and it doesn’t automatically change to the nifty box after a few seconds, you may have pasted some extra characters or something, or some network connection is down momentarily. In that case, you can usually try it again a few more times & it’ll usually show up.
