Sad, but 100% spot-on. I purposely never mention the # of years of business experience I have. No one would hire me if I did. Fortunately, I guess, I’m very young looking. People always think I’m in my mid-30s, so I still get hired. I remember my dad having trouble finding work when he was in his late 40s/early 50s, though. Age discrimination is nothing new, eh?
